The Shareholder Advisory Committee, a ground-breaking initiative in the Spanish energy sector
A meeting point and space for dialogue with our individual shareholders
The Committee is a means of communication that sets Repsol apart from other companies.

At Repsol, we believe that all our shareholders play an equally important role in the company. For this reason, three years ago we went a step further to promote transparency and decided to establish two-way communication between this group and our management team. The solution was to create the Advisory Committee, a ground-breaking initiative in the Spanish energy sector, which allows for direct interaction with the company's individual shareholders. "It is an initiative I am very proud of. It allows us to listen to small investors and understand their point of view. I am very happy with the work carried out by the shareholders over the years, and their contributions are very valuable," affirms Miguel Martínez, Chief Financial Officer at Repsol and Chairman of the Advisory Committee.
The committee comprises a maximum of 12 shareholders, who are selected through an open and transparent process for a maximum period of two years. To become a member of this Committee, candidates must have belonged to Repsol's Shareholder Community (Repsol en Acción) for at least one year and hold at least 1,000 shares at the time of sending the application. Additionally, two members of the company's management bodies have permanent representation on the Committee.
In their four annual ordinary meetings, the shareholders raise their concerns and share their opinions with the Investor Relations team, which is responsible for channeling this group's questions, proposals, and suggestions. In this manner, the Advisory Committee helps ensure that our shareholders play an active role in the company. According to Luis Cuadrillero, one of its members, "It is a very positive means of communication that sets Repsol apart from other companies. It is also a unique opportunity to learn about the company, its senior managers, and the Investor Relations team."
