for 2020

Plan Global de Sostenibilidad

Continuing to reduce our CO2 emissions, fulfill our ambition of zero accidents, manage water with excellence, continuing to improve our transparency, continuing with our commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities,... These are just some of the sustainability ambitions and objectives that our Company wants to turn into reality by 2020.

The Global Sustainability Plan approved in 2017 proposes 15 objectives related to climate change, people, safe operations, the environment, innovation and technology, and ethics and transparency: the six strategic pillars of our sustainability model.

To guarantee it is successfully carried out, Repsol will define a series of actions each year. The degree to which they are achieved will be evaluated at the end of each year. Between 15% and 20% of employees' variable remuneration will depend on the achievement of these objectives.

In 2017 local sustainability plans were also defined in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela, and in the industrial centers of A Coruña, Petronor, Tarragona, Puertollano and Cartagena, with actions aimed at meeting our stakeholders' needs in these areas.

In 2018 we included new plans in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Norway, and the Sine complex (Portugal).

In a new example of transparency, Repsol has integrated all the information related to Sustainability in its Integrated Management Report, the main Group financial and non-financial information document, which offers our stakeholders the most comprehensive summary of our activities.
